Roentgenographic method of measuring the duodenal loop in korean adult

Abstract
|
|
|
This report is to measure the maximal vertical internal diamter of the duodenal loop and to investigate the presence of relationship between the diamter. and stomach type, body weigth, sex and age, based on random sampled, 130 persons at our hospital who are supposed to be normal.
The results are as follows
1. The duodenal loop is widest in hypertonic type, and narrowest in hypotonic type of stomach.
2. As the body weight increases, the duodenal loop gets wider.
3. The duodenal loop is men than in women.
4. Age has nothing to do with the diamter of the duodenal loop.
